Some weddings have a slow build-up. Cat & Stu’s? It started high and just kept climbing. From the quiet magic of their first look to the shoulder-aching, feet-throbbing dance floor chaos later on, it was pure joy from start to finish.

The First Look

Before the formalities began, Cat & Stu chose to do a first look, and honestly, it was such a brilliant call. Tucked away from the main hustle, they had this intimate moment together, just the two of them seeing each other for the first time without an audience. It wasn’t staged or over-the-top; it was pure, genuine reaction. They laughed, hugged, and in that short moment, the excitement really sank in for them both. Doing it this way meant that when it came to walking down the aisle later, the nerves were gone and the focus was just on enjoying the ceremony.

Venue Love - The Hoste Arms wedding Burnham Market

If you’ve never been, The Hoste Arms sits right in the heart of Burnham Market - one of those picture perfect North Norfolk villages where every corner looks like it belongs on a postcard, perfect for a wedding. The venue itself is the perfect mix of relaxed comfort and understated elegance. Cat & Stu used the Garden Room for their celebrations, which has this beautiful light and airy feel, with doors that open out into a lovely courtyard space. It created such a nice flow between indoors and outdoors, meaning guests could mingle in the fresh air before heading back in for food, speeches, and later… dancing. And of course, the charm of The Hoste’s cosy bar made it the perfect spot for a sneaky pre-reception pint or two.

A Party Worth the Blisters

When the evening came around, it was like someone had thrown petrol on the party fire. The dance floor filled instantly and didn’t empty once — shoes were ditched, ties were loosened, and drinks were clinking everywhere you looked. This wasn’t a polite shuffle in the corner; this was the kind of full-on, joy-fuelled chaos where you lose track of time completely. Cat & Stu were right in the middle of it all, leading the charge, making sure no one was sitting down unless they had a very good reason. The laughter, the music, the unfiltered fun… it was the perfect ending to a day that had been nothing but brilliant from start to finish.
