SUFFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Weddings for people who don't do posing

I'm Craig, an award-winning wedding photographer photographing weddings across Suffolk.
If you want the big emotions, the ridiculous dance moves, the happy chaos and all the little moments that make your wedding yours, you're in the right place.
No awkward posing marathons. No disappearing for hours. Just brilliant photographs of a bloody brilliant day.

Fun, relaxed and unposed wedding photography for couples who want to actually enjoy their wedding.

You haven't spent months planning a wedding just to spend half of it being told where to stand, how to smile and when to look lovingly into each other's eyes.
My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, documentary-led and all about letting things happen. I'll capture the important moments, the little interactions and the unexpected stuff you couldn't possibly plan.
I'll organise the family photographs, give you a little direction when it helps and grab you for a few minutes when the light is looking ridiculous. Then you're straight back to your mates.
Whether you're getting married in a Suffolk barn, a country house, a coastal venue or somewhere a little different, the idea is the same: enjoy your wedding, be yourselves and let me take care of the photographs.

A Suffolk wedding photographed the way it actually felt

Chloe & Dec - Bateman's Barn
One of those weddings where it felt more like we'd all gone to a bloody good party that happened to involve getting married.
The kind of day with loads of personality, plenty of laughs and absolutely no interest in doing things the "proper" way.
From the morning prep through to the dance floor, it was exactly the sort of wedding I love photographing.

Getting married in Suffolk?
Whether you're getting married in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Woodbridge, Beccles, Lowestoft, Sudbury, somewhere along the Suffolk coast or in the middle of absolutely nowhere, I'll be there.

My approach is simple: your wedding isn't a photoshoot.
I'm not going to drag you away from your mates for three hours or spend the day barking instructions at you.
I'll photograph the important stuff, obviously - but I'm just as interested in the stuff happening around it.
The massive hugs.
The nervous laughs.
Your mates losing their minds on the dance floor.
Your dad pretending he's not emotional.
That one guest who's had slightly too much prosecco.
The moments you didn't even realise were happening.
That's the good stuff.

Award-Winning Photography. Zero Wedding Day Drama

Why book me?

In 2025, I was named East of England Wedding Photographer of the Year.

I'm incredibly proud of that, but what matters just as much is how you feel on your wedding day.

You want someone who knows when to step back, when to help things along and when to get right in amongst the action. Someone your guests feel comfortable around, who can organise the family photos without turning them into a military operation, and who knows how to handle the unexpected.

That's my approach: friendly, prepared, experienced and completely invested in giving you photographs that bring the day back to life.

Fast forward to the day, and Craig was just brilliant. He got photos of all the elements of the day, and even bits that myself and my husband missed! The photos are just phenomenal and truly are beautiful candid shots. Craig felt more like a friend and one of our guests than a photographer and we really can’t thank him enough for how amazing memories we have because of these stunning shots.

A Little Nostalgia?
Let's Shoot Some Film

There’s something about film that digital just can’t fake.

Alongside your digital wedding photographs, I offer 35mm film photography for couples who love the grain, the colour and the beautifully imperfect character of analogue images.
It's a different way of documenting your wedding: considered, nostalgic and full of character. Think photographs that wouldn't look out of place in a family album decades from now.
It's an optional extra, but if that look makes you feel something, it's well worth a look.

Getting Married in Suffolk?
Let's Make Some Magic

If you want photographs that feel like your wedding rather than a photoshoot, I reckon we'll get along just fine.
Tell me where you're getting married, when the big day is and what you're planning.
Big party, intimate celebration, countryside barn or something completely different,  I'd love to hear about it.
