Some weddings you just know will stick in your memory forever...
...and Mary & Ben’s epic summer celebration at Fishley Hall, near Norwich in Norfolk, is one I’ll be talking about for years. This wasn’t your “stand in a line and politely nibble canapés” kind of day. Nope. This was full-on fun, high-energy, and wonderfully untraditional from start to finish.
Fishley Hall – A Norfolk Wedding Venue That Knows How to Party
If you’ve never been to Fishley Hall, you’re missing out on one of Norfolk’s most beautiful and versatile wedding venues. Surrounded by open fields and the Norfolk Broads, it’s got that perfect mix of rustic charm and space to go wild with your ideas. Mary & Ben made the most of it, filling the day with games, food, and pure chaos (in the best way possible).

Garden Games, Sack Races & Bouncy Castle Chaos
The sun was blazing, the drinks were flowing, and guests wasted no time jumping into the garden games. The sack races were absolutely hilarious, I’m talking full grown adults hopping, falling, and laughing so hard they could barely finish. Then there was the bouncy castle, which was… well, carnage. People were bouncing, tumbling, and inevitably falling off in true bouncy castle style. My camera barely kept up with the action.

Smoke Grenades & Seriously Good Food
Just when you thought it couldn’t get more colourful from a Mega Summer wedding in Norfolk, out came the smoke grenades for some epic, vibrant photos. Then came the wedding breakfast, and it was hands down the most pizzas I’ve ever seen in one place. Domino’s for everyone. Yes, actual Domino’s Pizza for a wedding breakfast, and it was glorious. Later on, an ice cream van rolled in, keeping guests cool in the summer heat.

Why This Mega Summer wedding in Norfolk Was So Untraditional (And Brilliant)
Mary & Ben threw the rulebook out the window. No stiff formality. No cookie cutter schedule. Just a day built around fun, laughter, and making sure their guests had the best time possible. And honestly? That’s exactly how a wedding should be. Mary & Ben - thank you for letting me capture your wild, wonderful wedding. I’m still smiling about it.
