What a year 2020 has delivered. Kelly & James was my first wedding back in 2021 since all the lock downs and what a couple of days they had. Hottest days so far and the best light I could've asked for that gave some incredible couple shots.

Their venue was the incredible Hockwold Hall which is a spectacular Grade II listed manor that operates as an event and wedding venue in Norfolk, near the borders of Suffolk and Cambridgeshire counties and only 30 miles from Cambridge. With it's private ceremony location in a key shaped hedgerow, gorgeous gardens and a mahuuusive field out front Hockwold Hall makes for the perfect venue for weddings.

As I arrived at Hockwold Hall in the morning I met Kelly and her girls for their prep in one of the outbuildings and was greeted with lots of smiles and laughs.

Drinks were flowing, tunes were pumping and we all got ready with plenty of time to spare! I took this opportunity to take a wonder and seek out some hot spots for some couple shots and honestly I lost count of how many little hidey holes there are to take advantage of.

Kelly and James' day was spread over two days which meant they could chill out in the evening of their wedding day with their nearest and dearest (and have a burger from The Station Smokehouse they hired for the two days, ;-)  highly recommended) and then to enjoy their wedding breakfast the following day.

The May bank holiday never fails for good weather and this one was a scorcher. The wild field in front of the hall is just incredible and made for the perfect golden hour couple shoot.

These guys and their friends were absolutely wicked! It was such a pleasure to be apart of their day.

Enjoy the shots
